The weekend has arrived! New Features, Bugs fixes, and changes! our dog show software just doesn't stop, we keep working hard in order to bring our users the best there is.
Once we’ve launched the new version of our dog show software, we’ve started to get feedback from our users. some were really good, some were bad but overall, we are happy with every feedback we’ve got. thanks to your feedback we were able to understand what are the pain points, and what we currently need to focus.
we must say that launching a new version of a dog show application that was built from ground to top isn’t a simple task, so we wish to thank you again for your patience and feedback.
New Event List Page
One of the top issue during the past month was the event list page, it was very unclear where to find the statistics page or previous shows in order to see show results and the show catalog.
moreover when having a list of dog shows in one page, it’s hard to understand where you should actually go, after all - if I’m breeding a specific dog breed and a member of a certain club, I might not be interesting of seeing dog events of breeds or clubs which I have nothing in common.
The solution - Artificial Intelligence
The new event list page hold in artificial intelligence technology that learns what type of events are you interested in, and making sure to put them on top of the page, under the featured category.
Then we bring a new way of splitting the events into different categories which bring more sense to people.
Featured - All Events which the system thinks are relevant to a dog owner and the dog owner is eligible to register to.
Entries that about to be ended - All events in the status of 72 hours before the entries will be closed.
Open Entries - all events in which entries status are longer than 72 hours and are entries are open.
Entries Just Ended - all events in status that entries have been closed and the event still not occurred.
Future Events - all events in the future, but entries are not open yet.
Everything is split into different colors with easy to use the navigation menu on the side.

When we have developed the Events List, we thought the having a filter button is enough. however, we’ve realized in the hard way that it was wrong. no one noticed the filter and it was hard for people to navigate between events, historical events, and shows which entries completed - but still did not occur. moreover - it was hard for people to understand how to get into
The solution - second level navigation
This will give a clear view to people on how to look for the statistics page, results page, and history page.
Statistics page - will present all shows, in the same design as the main events list, but will include a direct link into the statistic page.
Results page - will present all historical shows with a direct link to the results page, but will include also a direct link to download the show catalog, if the show manager created it.

If the events are currently going on - there will be a link to the live results page and a brand new ring status page, that will give the exhibitors a clear view what’s the status in the different rings at the moment.
My History - this page will show all history shows that the logged-in user has registered in the past.
